Welcome
The Mid-Missouri Radio Control Association welcomes all responsible RC flyers who
have current AMA Cards, paid annual dues, and agree to follow accepted
guidelines. The following is presented to help make the RC experience
safe, and by so doing, more fun for all. The guidelines are for safe
operating practices and not just for the sake of regulation.
We have an introductory brochure to tell people about our club. This brochure is in PDF format (385kb in size).
Meetings
Club meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month, at 7:00pm, at the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Columbia, Missouri USA. VISITORS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!!!
Air Field
The club maintains an air field northeast of Columbia on Mexico Gravel Road
east of route Z. You must be a AMA member to fly at the field. See the field link for more details on how to get to the air
field.
Flight Training
We now ask that you contact our training coordinator - Jeff
Buchner (Email) to arrange a time
for you and your instructor.
To help with this we have put together information to help you move through the process. The Student Pilot Training Guide has been designed to
help understand what the instructors are talk about. If you want to learn to
fly please come out to the field on Tuesday evenings. (The Student Pilot Training Guide is large if you have trouble downloading try right clicking on the link and chose "Save as").
