Welcome! The Mid-Missouri Radio Control Association (MMRCA) welcomes all responsible RC flyers who have current AMA Cards, paid annual dues, and agree to follow accepted guidelines. The following is presented to help make the RC experience safe, and by so doing, more fun for all. The guidelines are for safe operating practices and not just for the sake of regulation. We have an introductory brochure to tell people about our club. This brochure is in PDF format (385kb in size).

There is more work to be done and we will continue in the spring. Members are already flying out there. Look for mores news on this website as it becomes available. A random shot of our club in action! ANNOUCEMENTS3/31/13 - The Gate Code and the members section password has been changed for the new year. If you have not received the new code please contact our Treasurer. The new code has been emailed to all current 2013 members. ELECTION RESULTSThe annual election of officers was held during the December General Membership Meeting on December 19th. Please see the Club page for the 2013 Officers and Board of Directors. There are still some vacant positions. If you would like one of these positions then please let any member of the Board know. WE HAVE A FIELD!10/20/12 - Rock was delivered to the field for the road and parking lot. As of now, the rock still needs to be graded, and we hope to get that done over the next week or so. More pictures were added to the Photo Gallery of the dump trucks in action. 09/29/12 - The field has been smoothed out and ready for grass. Most airplanes can take off in the smooth dirt. The posts for the gate have been set into the ground and we should be ready to spread some gravel shortly for the entrance, road and parking lot. We pulled a few picnic tables out there and with the trees behind the pits blocking the sun in the late afternoon, there is shade and places to sit. People are showing up to fly both airplanes and helicopters, so come on down and start using our field! 09/23/12 - We have started construction of our new field. On Sunday, Sept 23 we disked up the field and plan to smooth out the field and plant new grass shortly. The holes for the gate posts have been dug out. Therefore, flying may be a little difficult until we get finished. We will keep the remainder of the area mowed so that there is some space to fly from. If you do fly please fly safely in the limited available space. On August 6, 2012, the City of Columbia City Council approved a resolution to grant MMRCA a license to use a piece of property for a flying field. We have received the signed lease and we have already started on setting up the field. Work has already started on the gate and discussions at the August General Membership Meeting will revolve around road planning. Hopefully soon, we will have something to be used as a runway as we continue to build. Current NewsRC Flight Deck is here! We have added a link to the RC Flight Deck Calendar to our website.
