These are pictures and movies clips from the 2005 Chili-Dog Fun Fly event,
held on October 15, 2005. In the past, this event has been plagued with
poor weather, either cold and rainy, or windy. Not this time! Couldn't
have asked for a nicer day. This helped boost the attendance past a
club-field record... 51 registered pilots, around 100 total, and more than
100 airplanes of every type at some point during the day. We were competing
with a giant-scale event in Oklahoma, and the Mizzou Tigers homecoming game,
or the turnout would have been even bigger. Billy Neal brought his awesome
chili and club members brought an assortment of side dishes. Lots of good
flying and camaraderie today!

MOVIE CLIPS
(These movies were produced using Arcsoft's Video Impression 2. The 384Kbps size
may run better on slower computers, and are quite a bit smaller than the 760Kbs versions without loosing
much quality. Some of the movies are also available in 640x480 resolution (1500kbs), when the original was taken in
that size on the Minolta Z3 digital camera. I usually recommend right-clicking on the link, choose save to
disk, and play the video ouside the browser.)
Very fast Diamond Dust, flown by Dave McDonald.
1:57 minutes (320x240-768Kbps - 9.0MB) (640x480-2Mbps - 27.4MB)
40% Carden Edge 540. Stirring up the fresh cut grass beyond the far side of the runway.
1:04 minutes (320x240-768Kbps - 4.7MB) (640x480-2Mbps - 14.4MB)
Lanier Shrike combat plane. Not doing combat, but just flying around with it's ribbon attached.
0:21 minutes (320x240-768Kbps - 1.1MB) (640x480-2Mbps - 4.0MB)
Some 3D action late in the afternoon. The 40% Carden Edge, Troy's big Yak profile, and Dave McDonald's big profile.
2:51 minutes (320x240-768Kbps - 13.9MB) (640x480-2Mbps - 40.9MB)
