The Movie Page

10/19/2001

Fellow club member Andy Steere was at a recent show we were at, and captured the following movies on his new camera. All of the below are of the .MOV format, so if you have trouble seeing them, make sure you have the latest Apple, Quicktime player. If I can ever figure out my own video / TV card I'll add some more of my own. Currently any imported video stream I do, makes for about 100 mb every 10 seconds, or some ridiculous amount about like that. Thanks Andy, for the following shots:

(If you have trouble seeing the following in your browser, right click on the picture, and select "Save Target As:", and save it to your pc, and view it outside of your browser. I'm digging into why on some browsers, it doesn't call up correctly)

F-15 Takeoff: (320x240, 10 sec, 2.7 MB)

F-15 Inverted Pass: (160x240, 24sec, 1.5 MB)

F-15 Low and Slow: (320x240, 10sec, 2.6 MB)

F-15 Low Pass with Vertical Climb: (160x120, 25sec, 1.6 MB)

F-15 3 Rolls: (320x240, 10sec, 2.5 MB)

F-15 Landing: (160x120, 19sec, 1.2 MB)

I know the following is not a jet, but I'm going to put it up here anyhow. Recently I had the privledge being asked to fly a fellow modeler's B-17. It was quite a treat, and below is a short shot of a flyby with it. It had 4, 4 stroke engines, retracts, flaps, and weighed about 50 pounds.

The below clip is 320 x 240, 15 seconds long, and is 3.9 MB.
