Progress continues, and I realized there were some complications that I had not expected. First was the realization that every former for the plug must be held 100% securely before a square inch of foam can be added. I was a bit delusional in thinking that the foam itself would 'shore up' the wiggly thin ply formers I had. Once I got all the formers in place, as seen in the below shot, I knew that wasn't going to work.

After much pondering, I asked Jerry his thoughts. He came up with an excellent idea, that solved both my support issues and also provides a way to have an excellent way to measure against, to ensure trueness of angle of attack for the nacelles, and airfoil as well. The nose is easy, but the back end is where all the work is going to go. The 3 below shots, show a table I'm building that will hopefully give me a 100% true flat surface, and be able to level in both dimensions. Now, all I will have to do is make sure my main fuselage pole is level with the table, and much of my alignment woes will be solved.

I drilled and tapped each table leg, for independent adjustment to provide easy leveling adjustment.

3 inch angle iron, under the table structure, to help hold the table true.
