Fuselage Formers Part 1
This update is going to be very short, as there’s not much to show. I usually like to do these updates in logical sections, but in this case designing and building the formers is taking so long, I felt it would be good to at least toss out a ‘work in progress’ shot. Besides, recent months have been the heart of jet flying season, which has an impact on progress.
Secondly, we lost about a month’s worth of work when I made a miscalculation on one element and we had to remake 2 main formers in the mid section. Live and learn.
Anyhow, here is a shot of the formers made so far, with the ones in the aft not finished yet. Next update will be a detailed explanation of the design and layout of these, when they are all finished.
